Development & Elite Squads
At Nepean Tennis we offer development and elite squads for those serious about their tennis. Our elite squads are invitational only and are designed to bring out the best in each individual’s game. Our coaches are highly experienced and provide an intense training program to help players reach their full potential. We also offer development squads for those looking to advance their skills and compete at a higher level.Our development squads are open to all and provide comprehensive training and guidance to help players reach their goals. Our coaches create a positive environment that encourages players to reach their highest potential and have fun while doing it.We understand that a successful tennis journey is a combination of hard work, dedication and lots of fun. We strive to help players achieve success and enjoy the journey along the way.
Multi Level Development Squad &
Senior Elite Squad
The Multi-Level Development Squad for Tennis is the ideal place for players of all ages to hone their skills and reach their full potential. Players from as young as 8 years old can join this squad and receive professional instruction from experienced coaches. The Senior Elite squad is a 1.5 or 2 hour training session designed specifically for Nepean's elite senior players. Players in this squad are typically nationally ranked and frequently play in Australian Junior or Open tournaments. During these sessions, players are provided with a comprehensive range of fitness, drill based and tactical based sessions in order to help them reach their highest potential. In addition, children at this level are encouraged to attend private lessons in order to supplement their squad sessions.
Orange Ball Development Squad
The Orange Ball Development Squad is an elite tennis program for advanced players aged 8-10 years. The program is designed to develop players' skills and enable them to progress to green ball. Players will benefit from 1.5 hours of play on a full size court, using orange balls. Squad members will also be given the opportunity to participate in Tennis NSW JDS tournaments and Nepean Junior Competitions throughout the Central West Region.
Junior Development Squad
The Junior Development Squad is an exclusive invitational program for advanced yellow ball players aged 12 or above. Players will have the opportunity to hone their skills and develop their tactical game play in an intense 1.5 hour session on a full size court, using full compression balls. All participants are expected to be regular players in sanctioned tournaments around the state of New South Wales as well as Nepean adult competitions. This program is a great way for junior players to take their game to the next level.
Junior Elite
The Junior Elite Squad focuses on developing advanced tactical, technical and physical skills to enable players to reach their full potential.
Players have the opportunity to receive individualised coaching from highly qualified coaches who have a wealth of experience in the game of tennis.
